July 14th -- Join the damnsel revolution at the Frying Pan on Bastille Day, Saturday, July 14th, as we throw Sinister. Follow the booming sounds of funk, minimal house, breaks, and drum&bass into the belly of the boat, where you'll find Drum One, Adam Warped, the Survival Crew, and damnsel residents Rolo, Big Ben, and Tigi, conspiring over a groove. The upstairs system features the same crew on a smoother edge, unloading crates of dub, reggae, and downtempo.Infectious visual art, installations and projections, will feature: Chicki, Kylie Hoy, Joust, Peter Johnston, Sean Qualls, Karen Sneider, Handsome Nick, Bootsquad, Albert Height, JustNica, Vicki Hippel, and Frank Luis. THE FRYING PAN is at Pier 63, floating on the Hudson River. 12th Avenue at West 23 Street, behind Basketball City, Chelsea Piers. Take the C or E trains to 23rd Street, and walk west to the Hudson. There's a pedestrian crossing at 22nd to get across the Evil West Side Highway.

Sundays in November and December, damnsel offers RDA100, with djs TIGI and DANNY on the decks bringing extra-fortified drum and bass sounds to the floor of the Korova Milk Bar. --come get your moloko on.
KOROVA MILK BAR is at 200 Avenue A, between 12th and 13th Streets. Blissfully, there is no cover. We drop the needles at 9pm, expect things to be speedy by 10.

This September, damnsel presented their first massive event, Birthday, a showcase for the works of all the damnsel artists. The boat rocked for hours, peaking with the destruction of a giant pinata at the hands of the energized crowd in the engine room. The party was a wild success, achieving its primary goal of bringing together hundreds of wide-eyed observers and crafty participants for an evening of undiluted madness.Stay tuned for further activity.
